Update September 2023 - We are delighted to announce that the Pleasure Boat Inn has been brought by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust and the are planning to reopen the pub in 2024.

One of the highlights of The Pleasure Boat Inn is its quiet location. The pub is situated right on the water's edge, with stunning views over Hickling broad. There is plenty of outdoor seating available, making it the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenery.The pub also has its own moorings, making it a popular stop for boaters exploring the Broads. 2. The Greyhound Inn. - Hickling

It is a 14 minutes walk from the moorings Hickling.

The bar serves a number of well-kept local and guest real ales and a selection of wines and spirits, including a collection of single malts. Their coffee is freshly ground from fairtrade beans roasted in East Anglia, and all staff are barista-trained.

Food is served 12-2pm and 5-8pm Monday to Saturday and all day on Sunday. They offer an a-la-carte menu with home-made pub classics, family favourites, and chef’s specials. In addition they offer light-bites menu available at lunchtimes, and traditional roasts are available at lunchtime on Sundays.

The Maltsters is a historic pub located in the village of Ranworth, on the banks of Malthouse Broad, one of the most scenic spots on the Norfolk Broads.

8. Falgate Inn - Potter Heigham

Is popular with locals and holiday makers. A family run pub that serves great food and beer. It has a friendly atmosphere and dog are welcome.It is a short walk though the village of Potter Heigham but well worth the effort.

9. The Nelson Head - Horsey.

Is a quirky country pub, one of our personal favourites. It is child and dog friendly with a warm welcome and large open fire. It is a 12 minutes walk from the moorings at Horsey. They offer a large selection of real ale and ciders. The fresh local food is cooked to order and although fairly traditional pub food it is cooked to a high standard. The outdoor space is large, with beautiful counryside views. Price range £6 - £25. Vegetarian, Vegan and gluten free options.

The Bridge Inn - Acle
